WANGARATTA FRV and CFA crews were called to a building fire at Cribbes Road about 9.40pm on Monday night, after a caller to Triple Zero reported flames coming from the house.
Approximately eight firefighters responded to the fire and arrived on scene in six minutes to find the house fully alight.
Wearing breathing apparatus, crews searched the property but found nobody was inside.
Crews brought the fire under control within 18 minutes after arrival on scene.
The cause of the fire was undetermined but police didn’t believe it was suspicious.
Emergency services had also attended a building fire on Vincent Road last Thursday, which suffered extensive damage and was deemed unsuspicious.
