Despite the wet and windy conditions, a good crowd gathered at the Oxley Memorial Park to commemorate Remembrance Day.

As usual, the children from both the Oxley and Milawa primary schools were a standout, actively participating in the service.

Major Naomi Manaley presented the address sharing the story of Corporal Johnson from Walwa, who was killed in World War 2, leaving a widow, and eight children.

Light refreshments at the Oxley Hall after the service allowed the crowd to warm up, connect and reflect.
