GRETA Football Netball Club has changed up their logo ahead of the 2023 Ovens and King season, altering it to include the netball side of the club.

The logo, which consisted of an intertwining 'G', 'F', and 'C', reminiscent of the AFL's Carlton Football Club, will be updated to include an 'N' for the club's powerhouse netball department.

The change comes on the heels of the O&K adopting a more inclusive and combined logo featuring both football and netball in the 2022 season.

Blues' president Blake Goodwin said the decision to update the logo was a "no–brainer".

"A group of our board members are obviously players as well, they came to us late last year or mid–last year and asked how do we go about doing this," he said.

"The O&K have incorporated the netball into their logo last year, so we tried to follow suit.

"We think of ourselves as a fairly tight–knit, inclusive community, so to have the netball on the logo was a no–brainer for us.

"We actually had a meeting last Monday to finalise the design, so it'll be on all of our new merchandise and jumpers for the start of the season next year."

The design is pending final approval by the O&K board, and if accepted, will be the official incorporated logo for one of the region's most storied football/netball clubs.

The decision will bring the total number of clubs in the league with inclusive/neutral logos to nine.
