By ALISON HARWOOD and BRIAN REID THE Wangaratta Clay Target Club has been busy lately providing their first class facilities to several groups enjoying the sport in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The club welcomed Foresight Engineering from Bright on Friday, December 8 as part of their corporate Christmas function. Several among the group had not used a firearm before and it was very pleasing to see the entire group smash many targets at the range. The positive comments from the entire group make these types of events very satisfying for the club and its group of dedicated volunteers. Supervision and some basic coaching from members, as well as the use of members’ firearms, all add up to a fun, safe and enjoyable day for all. We hope some of the people in attendance will return soon for another crack at the sport of clay target shooting. The Wangaratta Clay Target Club also wrapped up their sporting clays shoots for 2023 over the weekend All trophies were hams generously supplied by Londrigan Beef & Lamb.
