IT was a bumper weekend for shooters across the region, with three days of friendly competition to raise money for charity. From Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 9, three shoots were held at the Wangaratta Rifle Range and Wodonga Rifle Range on behalf of the Wangaratta Merry Marchers, which raised approximately $3000. The highlight of the weekend was the shaving of Bradley Goodman’s head of hair for charity - Glyn Yates won the right to wield the shears and while he might not make a good hairdresser, he did put on quite a show. Organisers would like to thank all competitors and sponsors for helping make the shoots a possibility, with the aim to raise even more money for charity in the future.
