CODING enthusiasts in regional areas can access an online tutorial being offered by Code Camp during the upcoming school holidays.
The Australian learn–to–code program is offering two free build–your–own games, aimed at young people living outside metropolitan areas.
In the free online tutorial, kids can choose to make the game Super Slimer, guiding a friendly slime blob collecting coins and avoiding baddies, or Firewall, where a heroic wizard of witch wards off evil spirits.
The tutorials are easy to follow, and no prior experience is needed; kids use simple drag and drop coding, and will be guided through step by step.
