LOCAL enduro star Ryder Lambing cleaned up in season 2023.

After an action packed season on his 65cc KTM, Lambing dominated the 65cc 7-12-year-olds class winning the GNCC (Grand National Cross Country Championship), NSW Off Road Championships, NSW Enduro Championships, Victorian Off Road Championships, while he finished second in the Australian Off Road Championship.

Lambing said he couldn’t be happier with how his season went.

“I definitely achieved my goals as I wished for and more,” Lambing said.

“My highlight of the year was competing in the very first GNCC (Grand National Cross Country) and taking the win in the 65cc Class.

“It’s a great feeling (achieving goals) and I can’t wait to continue doing what I love to do.”

Lambing’s motorbike riding took him and his family all over the country with his Dad (Mick) and Mum (Kelly) racking up a whopping 75,000kms throughout the year

“It was an awesome season for me getting to travel parts of Australia, riding in all the different conditions but also grateful for the friends we have met along the way,” Lambing said.

“My favourite track this year would’ve been Coonalpyn in South Australia – I just loved the dirt there.

“It was also the fastest race for the year.”

Lambing’s training program is now ramping up with his first race of the 2024 season set for March.

The budding star is running and working on his core everyday and is now starting to get back on his bike.

“Training has already started off the bike, but I’m really looking forward to getting out on my new bike for 2024,” Lambing said.

Lambing will take on the Victorian, NSW and Australian circuits next season, while he’ll also ride at the famous Hattah Desert Race in North West Victoria.

The family is also contemplating adding the South Australian Championships into an already hectic schedule as well.

Lambing thanked his sponsors for helping throughout the season.

“Without the help of my sponsors I couldn’t do what I do,” he said.

“Thanks to Gas Moto, Monza Imports, On Point Suspension, my coach Ben Greenwood and of course mum and dad for their help.”
