Glenrowan’s Ned Kelly Discovery Hub won two Silver Awards at last Thursday's 2025 Victorian Tourism Awards, recognised in the Tourist Attractions and Cultural Tourism categories.
These accolades follow the bub’s Bronze Award for Best New Tourism Business last year.
Since opening in September 2023, it has received several awards for tourism and design, and is expected to welcome its 100,000th visitor in the coming week.
The Ned Kelly Discovery Hub brings Ned Kelly’s story and the infamous siege to life through immersive storytelling, interactive technology, and striking architecture.
The hub features layered narratives, first-hand accounts, and diverse perspectives on one of Australia’s most debated historical figures.
Ned Kelly Discovery Hub visitor services team leader, Manda Stevens, said the recognition highlights the visitor services team’s hard work, made possible by the council's support, especially from the facilities, outdoor, and events teams.
"Together, we’ve developed a welcoming, award-winning facility," she said.
"We thank the Glenrowan community for their support over the past two years and look forward to welcoming more visitors to the region.”
Local caravan park operator, Valley View Caravan Park in Whitfield, also received a Silver Award in the Caravan and Holiday Parks category.
The three awards, along with renowned food and wine offerings, showcase the incredible tourism experiences the local region offers.
